Sapa Vietnam Hard Trekking 5Days/6nights Tour


On this trek you will explore the beautiful Sapa valley for two days with a one night home stay in Ta Van village, home of the Dzay minority. Unique to this trek - you will begin by driving to Cat Cat Village and begin your trek there. This trip is a wonderful opportunity to touch base with nature, enjoy the mountain landscape and views, feel revived and mingle with the humorous village residents. A lovely genuine Sapa experience.

Night 1: Hanoi to Lao Cai by the night train
Take overnight train from Hanoi to Lao Cai. Pick up from you hotel or be ready at our office at 20.00 for a short transfer to Hanoi Station to take the overnight train to Lao Cai City. Overnight on the train.        
¨ Day 01: Lao Cai - Sapa – Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van
Our waiting tour guide welcomes you at the Gate of Lao Cai train station by sign of your name to the bus and transfer to Sapa (45’). After breakfast and shower at Royal Hotel you then meet your guide. Your trekking trip start as first descends down to Y Linh Ho after to Lao Chai village and the last is Ta Van village. Dinner and overnight stay in Ta van village.

¨ Day02: Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ban Ho 
Breakfast with the local family and then get to a village located at the foot of HoangLienSon range via bamboo forests. Visit a waterfall and a rattan bridge. After the village, get down to the river, cross it and keep going to Su Pan village for 2 minorities – The H’mong and the Red Dzao. Get off the road to go down hill to BanHo village. Overnight at Ban Ho with a Tay family who have houses on stilts. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the family

¨ Day03: Nam Toong – Thanh Phu – My Son 
Get up early in the morning for fresh air and peaceful daily life of the people. Breakfast and leave the village for a hard day. Walk uphill to a smallest and almost untouched village of the Red Dzao (Nam Toong). Go further to another village on the same side of of the mountain range to see the XaPho ethnic group in NamKen. Get down to the river and go up to My Son to visit the Xa Pho again. Spend the night in Thanh Phu village at a Tay family. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner with the local family.

¨ Day 4: Thanh Phu - Su Pan - Sapa
Breakfast at Thanh Phu village. Walk back to Su Pan village where to take a jeep back to Sapa. On the way back, visit the ancient stone circle (stones decorated with ancient car or vanvings which are said to have described the life of the people lost in the mists of prehistory) Check in hotel. Lunch at Su Pan and dinner in Sapa.

Day5: Sapa town - Lao Cai - Hanoi
Breakfast, free to go around and explore the town: Ham rong Mountain, Sapa Market, old church.... Lunch and check out the hotel. Leave sapa for laocai Station by our car in the afternoon. Dinner at Lao Cai Station, get the night train to Hanoi.
